My Shopping Spree!
Well as you can see, I got a lot of shopping done at the IBS this Sunday! It was part of our local bead group meeting. In fact, I turned out to have a fuller car than I thought I would. Phyllis, Donna, and Goat Renee went with me, and we had a blast.  On our way there we decided that we should stop at the Krispy Creme that is close to the bead show and pick up treats for the meeting. So we got a dozen donuts and went to meet Mike and Cindy outside the show to share our challenges and the yummies.
We got there at 1:05, a whole 5 minutes late, and wouldn’t you know it, Cindy and Mike had already been to the show and left! Many jokes were made about them sneaking off for a little “alone time” at the local hotel. 
 We even found Cake Renee, and several other lampworkers, inside the show. In any case, we ate the donuts without Cindy and Mike, then shopped till we dropped!
p.s. turns out Mike had blood sugar problems and that is why they had to leave. Hope you feel better Mike!

Lucky! Those colorful beads in the center look like so much fun, can’t wait to see what they make.
The ones in the center are Tagua nut from South America. I really like them!
Goat Renee? This, of course intrigues me…

We have more than one Renee in the club… there is Goat Renee (she has goats), Cake Renee (she makes awesome cakes), and Clay Renee (who makes pottery).
I missed the tagua nut table!! Oh well, next time.
