Severe Blog Neglect

That’s right, I’m guilty of severe blog neglect. On the other hand, I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to do many fun things to report back to you about. Here is some of what has happened:

1. I decided to get a masters in bioinformatics online from John Hopkins. This is in addition to working full time as a professor. Yes, I am insane. I’m currently taking bio-organic chemestry, and it is hard!

2. I had my first mamogram. Ick. The helpful lady manhandled my boobs into a vice then very sweetly told me not to move. I wasn’t going anywhere, since small movements might very well rip them off my chest! Strangers handling my boobs = not good.

3. I turned 40. It was rather anticlimactic. It is also the reason I ended up getting medical boob pictures.

It is just recently that I decided to make time every week to do something creative. There were a few months there where I didn’t do hardly anything. So I’m back now, and you can look forward to pictures and more! But not tonight, because the Bear’s game is on.
