If you allow paid ads to appear on your site instead of the exchange ones, then half of your impressions go to paid ads and half go to the people who support me. Some of these people wait quite a while to be the blog of the day, and I don’t think this is fair to them. So I will not be accepting paid Entrecard ads on my site.

So now Entrecard isn’t going to charge you to not run an ad from someone you don’t approve of. Many thanks to all of my blog readers who saw the change and let me know! That was my big beef with the changes, so I guess I’ll take a wait and see attitude too. Now why they didn’t ask the users about the changes before implementing them I have no clue….

But just to give you something fun to look at, here is one of my latest piece that I put in my new 1000 Markets store. They are just starting out, and go live some time in May, but I have high hopes for their future. Only finished artwork is allowed to sell there. No supplies, nothing commercially made, just handmade. Woo hoo!

Well, that was from Entrecard, where you could allow people to have a widget on your site, and you could decide where your widget went, and it was pretty much free. Entrecard has changed their rules and now are expecting payment and such. Ewww. I liked being able to turn down ads for porno sites, but under the new rules I’d have to pay not to run ads from people who wanted space. Just silly. So I have 7 people that I picked waiting to advertise here, and as soon as those ads run I’ll be closing down my blog o the day and removing the widget. Boo to Entrecard!
